Modular container system for ultrapure water production
Country: Erbil, Iraq
Customer: Siemens Energy, Germany
Commissioning: July 25, 2024
Capacity: 2 x 18 m³/h (2 x 432 m³/d)
Background
Our customer required a compact, package-like solution due to limited space. Artas offered a containerized system that is package-like and has a small footprint.
Quality requirements
- System inlet flow: 2 x 30 m³/h
- Product flow rate: 2 x 18 m³/h
- Product water quality: Conductivity < 0.1 µS/cm, Silicon dioxide: < 0.01 ppm
Challenge
The project was too large in terms of capacity to fit into the container. Through precise engineering work and 3D studies, Artas was able to ensure effective use of the space.
Our solution
Complete containerized demineralization plant. The system includes:
- 2 x 100% ultrafiltration units
- 2 x 100% double-pass RO units
- 2 x 100% electrodeionization units
The membrane manufacturers involved in the process are as follows:
- UF: Pentair
- RO: Veolia
- EDI: Evoqua
Our range of services
- Design
- Manufacture and installation of equipment in the container
- Delivery of the system on an FCA basis
- Supervision during commissioning and start-up
Recognizable benefits for the customer
The plant produces the desired output quality and flow rate.
