Company History

Artas is a second-generation family business that was founded in Istanbul in 1982. Artas has always been a global player in the field of water and wastewater treatment. Its subsidiary, Artas Umwelt, has been active in Germany since 2019 and has been growing ever since.

With more than four decades of experience and over 500 successfully completed national and international projects, we work with renowned customers from the energy, industry, and infrastructure sectors. We develop turnkey solutions for our clients—from planning and implementation to operation.

Outlook for 2025: We are continuing our expansion and extending our involvement in Africa. There, we are focusing on seawater desalination, creating a secure drinking water supply for population groups, and helping to sustainably manage the growing wastewater problems faced by municipalities and industry.
